Structural Steel Fabrication & Field Installation
The full scope, from bid package review to final installation. One team, one point of contact, built for the way South Florida GCs run structural steel.
Who We Work With
MetaluX Corp works directly with general contractors, construction managers, estimators, project managers, and supers on South Florida commercial and specialty construction projects. We understand bid packages, submittal schedules, RFI workflows, and the coordination demands that come with structural steel scope on active job sites.
Our focus is structural steel fabrication and field installation. We are not a general metal shop. MetaluX is organized around the scope, coordination, and communication that commercial construction teams need from a structural steel fabricator and installer.
Scope of Work
MetaluX handles the full range of structural steel fabrication and installation scope for commercial construction packages.
Structural steel framing for commercial, industrial, and specialty construction. Wide flange beams, HSS columns, braced frames, moment connections, and multi-story assemblies fabricated to project specifications.
Shop-welded structural assemblies, connection plates, gussets, and fabricated structural components. Built to approved shop drawings and coordinated with field installation requirements.
Metal pan stair systems for commercial and multi-story construction. Fabricated to match structural drawings, coordinated with concrete pours, and installed with attention to landing elevations and IBC requirements.
Composite and structural steel decking supply and installation for commercial floor and roof systems. Coordinated with joist layout, beam spacing, and concrete placement schedules.
Embed plates, base plates, anchor bolt cages, and weld-in assemblies for concrete pours. Coordinated with structural drawings and field-verified for location and elevation before installation.
Site measurements, field verification, and pre-installation coordination prior to fabrication. Reduces fit-up issues and rework on site. Crew coordination with GC site management and sequencing aligned to your construction schedule.
Project Support
MetaluX supports the full lifecycle of structural steel scope on South Florida commercial construction projects.
We review your drawings, specifications, and scope notes. Steel quantities, material requirements, and field access conditions are identified before fabrication is planned.
Shop drawings, material procurement, and fabrication sequencing are aligned with your project schedule, submittal timeline, and installation requirements.
Steel fabricated to approved scope and specifications in our Pompano Beach shop. Assemblies built to support the erection sequence and minimize field fit-up time.
Field installation planned around site conditions, access, and your construction sequence. Direct crew coordination with your site management team throughout erection.
Field-Aware Fabrication
Structural steel fabricated strictly to drawings can arrive at the site and require significant rework. Field measurements and pre-installation verification reduce expensive corrections and schedule delays.
What gets fabricated first, how assemblies are staged, and how steel is delivered all depend on your construction sequence. A fabricator that understands field installation plans shop work accordingly.
Disconnects between the fabrication shop and the field crew are a common source of rework, delays, and cost overruns. MetaluX manages both sides of the scope from one point of contact.
Regional construction timelines, permitting workflows, site access patterns, and local subcontractor relationships are part of how MetaluX approaches project coordination in South Florida.
Get Started
Submit drawings, scope notes, bid due date, and project details. A MetaluX project manager will review the package and follow up to discuss your steel scope and installation requirements.
